The studio features a comprehensive collection of high‑resolution condenser microphones for solo, ensemble, and orchestral recording (DPA 4006, Brauner Phantom, Neumann KM184, Cascade FatHead II, AKG C460B and C414 B‑XLS, 18× RØDE NT1000, etc.), complemented by a dedicated set of dynamic and condenser microphones optimized for drum and percussion applications (Shure Beta 91A, SM57, Sennheiser e604, Audio Technica AT3035, etc.).
Primary conversion and monitoring are handled by the RME Fireface UFX, linked via ADAT to two Audient ASP880 mic preamp units, providing a total of up to 28 simultaneous recording channels.
The studio integrates state‑of‑the‑art digital audio processing (including an extensive collection of high‑quality audio plugins) with selected high‑end analogue mastering outboard from Manley, Vertigo, KuSh, Elysia, SPL, JDK, and others.
Mixing and editing workflows benefit from Steinberg Nuendo’s advanced editing tools, parameter automation, and total recall features, enhanced by three Mackie Control units offering precise tactile control through 25 touch‑sensitive motorfaders, 24 V‑Pots, a jog wheel, transport controls, and multiple displays.
Monitoring is provided by high‑resolution Quested VS2108 and S6R active systems, complemented by a Presonus Eris Pro Sub 10 and Beyerdynamic DT 770 headphones for detailed critical listening.
The main workstation is a Lenovo Legion Pro 7 high‑performance laptop equipped with a Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU (24 cores), 64 GB DDR5 RAM, and 8 TB of ultra‑fast M.2 SSD internal storage, supplemented by an additional 8 TB of Thunderbolt‑4 external SSD storage.
This configuration provides ample processing power for demanding audio production tasks and world‑class plugin processing, while external Audient ASP880 microphone preamps and the RME Fireface UFX audio interface ensure pristine recording and playback quality.
Additional storage and backup capacity is provided by RAID‑1 hard‑drive arrays running on a dedicated custom desktop PC.
The studio’s main hard‑disk recording and MIDI sequencing environment is Steinberg Nuendo 14, complemented by iZotope RX10 Advanced for spectral editing and audio restoration, and Presonus Studio One 7 for CD and DDP mastering tasks.
4K video post‑production (including editing, color correction, compositing, and authoring) is handled using DaVinci Resolve together with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
The studio’s collection of virtual‑analogue audio processors combines meticulous circuit modelling with advanced digital control, providing a refined palette for shaping and enhancing audio material.
High‑quality sound processing is available through leading hardware emulations from Universal Audio (Neve, API, Lexicon, EMT, AKG, Ampex, Pultec, Fairchild, SPL, Manley, Empirical Labs, Moog, Roland, etc.), Plugin Alliance (SPL, AMEK, Neve, SSL, Focusrite, Lindell, Vertigo), Solid State Logic, Slate Digital, Arturia, SoundToys, Native Instruments, Nomad Factory, PSP Audio, and Waves.
For tasks requiring surgical precision or immersive multichannel support (up to 7.1.4), state‑of‑the‑art digital processing is provided by FabFilter, Valhalla DSP, iZotope, Antares, GRM Tools, and TDR Labs.
